Marshfield—Thomas K. Dawson, 59, Route 2, Williamsport, died unexpectedly at 11:08 a.m. Monday, March 20, 1989 in United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.
  He was born Feb. 18, 1930 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Rolla K. and Frances E. Knight Dawson. He was married Sept. 24, 1948 in Williamsport to Dorothy Dotson, who survives.
  He had lived in Warren County since 1942 and graduated from West Lebanon High School in 1948. He had been a farmer all of his life.
  He was a member of the Marshfield Presbyterian Church, Warren County Farm Bureau and Haymakers Square Dance Club in Danville. He was a former member of Warren County Civil Defense.
  Surviving besides his wife are a son, Robert A., Route 2, Williamsport; two daughters, Mrs. John (Ellen) Peterson, Williamsport, and Mrs. John (Diana) Brier, Route 4, Attica; his father of Route 2, Williamsport, and eight grandchildren, Valeri, Robby and Amy Dawson, Kristin and Kevin Peterson, and Sean, Heather and Mark Brier. He was preceded in death by his mother.
  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Friday) at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport, with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.- thanks to S
